In a new teaser trailer for E!’s first scripted series, The Royals, we get our first live-action look at Joan Collins playing Elizabeth Hurley‘s mother.

Being the queen does not, it seems, save you from a mother’s criticism: “I see you’ve decorated,” the Grand Duchess of Oxford tells her daughter. “I’d love to know whatever possessed you to choose ‘Vegas’ as your theme.”

Check out the trailer to watch Hurley, 49, deliver the line “FML” with all the gravitas of a Shakespearean soliloquy, proving that The Royals is an early contender for every single Emmy the Academy has to offer.

The Royals has already been renewed for a second season in advance of the series premiere, which airs March 15.
