This app is really great for those who want something different from the usual keyboard options cell phones provide. Much like anything, this isn't a perfect app and I do have some cons I'd like to share for feedback: 1) There are no intuitive options for custom keyboards. If you want to customize the keyboard colors, fonts, and such, I have not found a way to do so for custom keyboards. 2) If you try and capitalize a word, it predicts the word and keeps what previous entry as well.

SwiftKey used to be good. Then a few years ago they made some weird update where the prediction is all wrong. It used to be that the center suggested word was always an auto complete. Now it's a suggested word that is often different, even when it's one letter off. It's not consistent which is the worst part. Sometimes the center word is finishing off your current word, other times it's another word. Sometimes completing your word is the left or right boxes. Very frustrating. Edit 2024. Thesame

Shoving "AI" (Copilot) into an app means I drop it. I've used SwiftKey since 2011 and recommended it to countless people, but improvements have been slim since Microsoft took over in 2016, and Copilot getting added in recently is the last straw. Even with the feature disabled, a pen icon pops up among suggested words to try to entice you to use it. No thanks and bye.

Hi Kate, we do apologize for the inconvenience. You can turn off autocorrect in SwiftKey. Follow these steps: Open SwiftKey > Tap on Settings > Go to ‘Typing’ > Tap on ‘Typing & Autocorrect’. If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling SwiftKey. Please ensure to back up your data.
