I love Monster Hunter and have been looking for a game like Airou Village for forever. And for the most part, this game does a good enough job. However, the longer it goes on and the more unfairly difficult the puzzles become, the more I want to put it down and give up. I understand puzzle games have to get harder, but some of even the easy puzzles feel too frustrating. I use power ups and waste resources only to still not complete the level by one item. The start was fun at least...

Updated Review: The last update fixed some issues. It still has a few bugs here and there, but nothing game breaking anymore. Levels are still very hard. However, after giving it more time, I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought. Game levels are hard, and the move limit makes them challenging. If you are struggling, do sub quests and get materials, then unlock outfits. Increase your Pawtential. The bonus from doing this helps tremendously. Some levels are brain teasers, but they are beatable.

I want to love this game, but the difficulty seems sporadic. It gets to a point where you have to use boosters just to pass a level you've been stuck on for 10-15 tries and then it's way too easy once you finally get a decent board state. I shouldn't have to use boosters just to pass every level, but I understand it's a mobile game and you have to milk players for cash. It seems to be more about sheer luck than skill. Music is amazing, visuals are on point, but gameplay needs a lot of balancing.
