It's always worked well even with ads. Well worth the download and the subscription for my phone and tablet. Avast cleanup on my laptop...not so much anymore. Just got the new update for the program and it is horrible. Effectively rendering the program useless. Severely frustrated with the dash board/interface. A lot of the features I found very useful are now GONE. As far as the current PC version....it sucks beyond belief to the point that I'm looking for a new program to install.

I downloaded this bc I just paid for the yearly subscription for the Avast Mobile Security app, and it leads you to download this for the cleaning part, and at first I thought it was good, but the last 4 times I cleaned my phone, it took 27 mins, just for me to realize it hasn't even cleaned it. The first time it took a couple mins. And I have uninstalled several apps on my phone so that's way more space now than the first time it cleaned it. It's ridiculous.

Hi, sorry to hear that. The scanning itself is quite fast, but it can be slowed down by folders with a huge number (thousands) of files. My previous review was good and I still think this is a good app but on the other side it seems that apps creators had found the way to bypass and cut short the main reason I got this app... the option to put apps to sleep. When I used the option in less than 2 hours all the apps are started up again clogging almost completely tha phone memory. This had the effect to need to run the options multiple times a day. Not very funny.
