It used to be great, but then they put all the useful data behind paywalls: sleep info, meditations, heart-health, etc. Hundreds of dollars for the product (which was billed as doing all kinds of cool extras beyond counting steps) wasn't enough to satisfy corporate greed; let's add on a subscription fee to make the product actually usable beyond just counting steps. Well, when this dies, I'll definitely be looking into other options.

I dont know what has happened to fitbit since Google purchased it, but I am having to sign back into the app every day, it wont sync properly any longer, it is terrible. I have been a long time customer that is ready to move to Samsung smart watch because it is so bad. They need to fix it or they are going to lose customers. My friend is already moving to apple watch because it so bad.

The app does work for me (which is why it isn't 1 star) but unfortunately, Fitbit isn't what it used to be. Outside of all the UI changes, it seems there were changes made to the tracking logic that made them worse. If you are looking to get a Fitbit for the sleep tracking (since it used to be one of the most accurate out there), I would not recommend it anymore. It no longer seems accurate and several key pieces of information no longer seem to be easily available (or available at all for some)
