They were already pushing Premium hard, but they recently removed food scanning (a pretty useful feature) and made it premium only. I get the feeling they're going to keep stripping the free features with the hope you cave in and give them money. I like the free version of this app for what it is, but I will find another one if LoseIt becomes unusable.

Used to be good. This app went the way a lot of popular apps do and started inconveniencing it's users in hopes that they'll pay for features that were previously free for years. They took the most used features and put them behind a paywall. You can no longer scan barcodes to log them. Something that's free in almost every single app like this. I used to recommend this app to everyone but I unfortunately have to move on. Yet another service trying to be a subscription. Really disappointing.

Been using this app for a long time now to assist with weight loss. After the most recent update, scanning barcodes has become a premium feature. My incentive to purchase premium is even less than it was before, as this update makes it significantly harder to just track calories. Very disappointing.
