Want to measure sound level? This is smart sound level meter app for Android!
Our decibel meter uses your built-in microphone to measure sound volume in decibels (dB) and also displays samples on helpful graph.

NOTE: Microphones in most devices are aligned to human voice and the maximum values are limited by the hardware. Very loud sounds (~90 dB and more) may not be recognized. Automatic gain control used in some devices may interfere with the operation of this noise meter.

Works perfectly. Idk why people are saying it doesn't measure sound while ads are displayed or that it's difficult to read at a glance. Not seeing either of those issues. Current reading is displayed simultaneously in digital and analog format as well as minimum, average, maximum and graphing for a session. And this is an extremely inexpensive app at $1.99 if you prefer ad-free. App development costs money. Small price to pay for this quality and stability.

For work, I downloaded Sound Meter to backup what we were experiencing with noise from the fans blowing heat or A/C . When maintenance used their meter, we were in the same range. That's pretty accurate. It is an easy, simple app to use. No gimmicks. Don't recall being blasted by ads. I recommend it.

Too many cookies. Interesting that the developer states "no user data collected or shared". But then I had to spend a few minutes deselecting all the various cookies the app wants to use. Then, after responding to the "with ads or pay money" question, having to start another cookie selection process. In my mind, any app that makes controlling cookies this difficult should be avoided. Uninstalled.
