About this game

Love Esquire is a romantic-comedy visual novel/dating sim with a touch of old-school RPG combat. In this game, you're not a famous knight, but a good-for-nothing squire who's on a quest to find man's greatest pleasure. Getting the girl won't be easy though, since most of them are waaaay out of your league!

So raise those stats, battle monsters, and unleash your full potential!

FEATURES
♡ 5 Dateable Waifus – Love Esquire's heroines are not just pretty faces! Each have their own unique ambitions, backstories, plots, and dirty little secrets for you to uncover.
♡ Turn-based Combat – You may not be a decent squire, but you have a number of unconventional techniques to keep your needy knight alive. Taunt, cheer, heal, and loot your way to victory!
♡ Raise Stats – Git gud and become the ideal man by increasing your strength, charisma and intelligence. These traits not only affect your combat abilities, but also your relationships.
♡ Forge Relationships – Amp up your squirely charm by giving gifts and whispering sweet nothings to your waifu. Get those romance points high enough and they'll open up in more ways than one.

After beating the game, and now in NG+. I can say the Visual Novel is pretty fun.Main character is amusing, and fun to play as, Love interests are pretty unique, and would love to see more be added. There are a good number of choices to make in the game, and it's not too ridiculous, or too little. Not a real AD heavy game, and would only appear on certain actions. Only dislike is that some choices needs diamonds, and can be a crunch when going a certain route. Either way, don't use đź’Ž on energy.

I can only add to the other comments; the art, characters, and audio are all fantastic and engaging. The battle system is a treat, strategizing to defeat the enemies once you've learned the nuances of the combat. I would love an update to add Hugh as an option, as I imagined in my playthrough. Doing so, I've missed out on the engaging stories of the other characters that others have commented about. Playing this path as is, you get thrown a small bone here and there, but a full story would rock!

The game is funny, charming, and the characters get depth later on in their arcs that I'm not ashamed to admit made me tear up a little. But the sheer audacity of making the game free and then locking the good endings behind diamond choices that require weeks to save up for or cost about 20 bucks to buy leaves me pretty sour on the whole thing. Apparently the PC version didn't have this problem, but why are you going to make the mobile free when you're going to make it cost ten times as much in the long-run? You get about 6-9 free diamonds per day. That's anywhere between two and four real-world weeks of saving just for one choice. Boo, Yangyang! Boo! If you want to make money off it, just charge what you do for the PC version. Like I said, it's still fun to play, which is why I'm still giving it 3 stars instead of 0; so if you want it, just get the PC version.

We’re really sorry about this. At the moment, you can save enough gems through daily rewards, doing missions & achievements. We also give out gems when there’s an event or an update. Thanks for your feedback. We can’t promise anything, but we’ll do our best to lessen gem requirements & give out more gems in the future. Have a great day! :)
