Huge day for Teeth fans! The upcoming open-ended Off-Broadway run of Michael R. Jackson and Anna K. Jacobs' musical has revealed dates. Performances will begin October 16 at New World Stages, with opening night set for October 31. That's right; Teeth is opening on Halloween. Set your faces to terrified.

And to hold us over until then, the musical's previously announced cast album is now available for streaming and digital purchase from Yellow Sound Label. The album features the original Off-Broadway cast from the world premiere at Playwrights Horizons earlier this year, including Alyse Alan Louis (Amélie), Steven Pasquale, Courtney Bassett, Phoenix Best, Will Connolly (Once), Jason Gotay, Jenna Rose Husli, Jared Loftin, Lexi Rhoades, Wren Rivera, and Helen J Shen. Casting for the upcoming open-ended run is to be announced.

The cast album is produced and mixed by Michael Croiter, co-produced by music supervisor Julie McBride and Jacobs, and executive-produced by Mark Gordon, Mickey Liddell, and Pete Shilaimon. The recording features music direction by Patrick Sulken and orchestrations by Kris Kukul.

Adapted from the 2007 horror comedy film of the same name, Teeth features a book and music by Jacobs and book and lyrics by Jackson, the latter a Pulitzer and Tony winner for A Strange Loop. The story follows evangelical Christian teenager Dawn O'Keefe, whose body bites back when men try to violate her.

The Off-Broadway world premiere began performances February 21 at Playwrights Horizons and officially opened March 19. Read the reviews here.

Sarah Benson will return to direct after staging the world premiere, with Raja Feather Kelly also back to choreograph. Further creative team members are to be announced.
