Richard A. Pizante is the SVP of Production at Dick Clark Production. With more than two decades of experience, Pizante runs the production department, overseeing physical production and protocols as well as budgeting of DCP’s tentpole live events and other entertainment programming.

Pizante began his career as a freelancer in variety television and live event entertainment and evolved to become an early adopter of social and digital media. He launched the inaugural season of “The Voice” (NBC), while adding to his list of other producing accolades including the “Emmys,” “BET Honors,” “Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Opry” (NBC), “Legendary” (MAX), and others.

Prior to joining DCP, he founded Pizante Productions, Inc. (PPI) in 2014, offering his services as an award-winning Executive Producer, Production Executive and Consultant. He has consulted for Dick Clark Productions on the “Streamy Awards” and produced content for the “Billboard Music Awards,” and “Academy of Country MusicAwards.” PPI’s clientele also included NBCUniversal, NCredible Entertainment, Ron Weisner and WolfEntertainment, X (formally known as Twitter), Fullscreen Media, and FoxAlternative Entertainment.

Under PPI, Pizante was tapped to launch Fullscreen Media and served as Executive-in-Charge of Production. He was a pivotal architect of Fullscreen Studios where he managed over 75+ personnel and a slate of original series spanning production, daily social publishing, and studio operations during his tenure. He oversaw delivery of 500+ episodes for the company’s proprietary SVOD platform, and distributed 20+ hours of original content to Fullscreen’s social channels on Facebook Live, SnapChat,Instagram, and Twitter.

A native Angeleno, and educated at the University of California, Los Angeles, Pizante is a lifetime member ofthe Producers Guild of America by which he was nominated as “Outstanding Producer of Competition Television.” He is a member of the Academy of TelevisionArts and Sciences.
