Fantastic & Personal
Loved this series! As someone who works in the podcast industry, I really admired the story editing, the research, the quantity and quality of interviews, the music, and the sound design.
Extremely repetitive and stretched out
So repetitive that I skipped around episodes and it was still saying the same things over and over again. The breakthroughs were masked by the same statements again and again. I can’t believe this was stretched out 8 episodes…one of the worst podcasts I’ve listened to. And guess what - she faked cancer (for the billionth time)
Great story but…
As others referenced, the story is hard to follow due to the storytelling. Made me wonder if this was their first podcast. There were many interviewed and they didn’t always name who was speaking. The timeline is all over the place, repeat use of the same sound bites, and the narrator would open a topic and then completely jump to something new, leaving you feeling incomplete on that prior topic. I’m still unclear if everything was wrapped up that was mentioned. The narrator has a great voice and the topic was fascinating, but this could have been so much more if better organized.
