Borderlands, writer & director Eli Roth’s first big-budget, action movie, hit theaters today, and Eli takes us behind-the-scenes of his adaptation of the popular video game! He talks about working with the A-list cast including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Black, and Ariana Greenblatt, and explains his part in the casting process. He shares stories from filming in Budapest during COVID lockdown, collaborating with game creator Gearbox on the props, and directing with all the special EFX in mind! Legendary Canadian promote Tony Condello returns to celebrate the theatrical release of the brand-new documentary, The Death Tour (Executive Produced by Chris Jericho), chronicling 50-years of TCW’s infamously grueling wrestling tour of indigenous communities in the far North of Canada! Doc directors Stephan Peterson and Sonya Ballantyne, and wrestlers Massive Damage and Sage, also join to talk about the making of the film, which was shot over the course of one tour’s 3-week run. They discuss what it was like to film in the blistering cold conditions, and travel wrestlers, equipment, and filmmaking gear along the iced over roads and frozen lakes. In 2004, the FBI was tipped off to a gruesome pattern of unsolved murders along American highways, and since then, at least 850 homicides have been linked to a new breed of serial killer: long-haul truck drivers! The FBI’s Former Assistant Director of Counterintelligence, Frank Figliuzzi, did his own interviews, research and investigation into some of the most terrifying cases which he chronicled in his new book, Long Haul: Hunting The Highway Serial Killers.
