Natalie Kitroeff is the best host

Appreciate that she doesn’t sound like she’s trying to emote peppiness or pensiveness. Also, she doesn’t regurgitate a sound bite version of what the guest just said. It’s just a conversation and I prefer that style. Other hosts could adopt some of her technique. The guests are interesting, let them speak.

Summer 2024 update: god, I love summer, when I presume the regular hosts go on vacation and Natalie Kitroeff hosts. It is so refreshing to hear someone speak like a normal, genuine human being. It feels like being in a conversation with other intelligent adults who aren’t speaking to me as if I were a child or a simpleton.

Great journalism, but poor narration

My 25 year old daughter recommended this podcast. I am a NY Times reader. Although the research is well done and the topics are interesting, Michael’s narration is so stilted. Three words are spoken like a robot and then a pause, repeat...

Anti American

anti american scum. All you gotta know is the editior in chief here was so upset that Biden didn't give NYT a personal interview that he's hellbent on throwing away democracy in the process. Don't forget NYT was writing pro Hitler fluff pieces in the 1930's, these guys are barely better than The New Yorker in 2024
