I’m an Arab listener from (and living in) Kuwait. While one might think these episodes cater to an American audience, I find it a universal podium of GEMS. The hosts are charming, eloquent, empathetic with soothing voices that make any conversation sound like a sermon. They are genuinely intelligent, in tune with global events, and have truly wise intellectual takes on every single subject - whether it’s political or pure fun pop culture. GEMS across the board!
Impressed
I attended the live taping at The Ford in LA and was very impressed with how all three hosts were able to thread a through line that is the intersection of pop culture and politics. I very much enjoyed the nuance and perspective that they provided being academics and being people that have worked on campaigns. As this 2024 presidential election is ever changing, I’m looking forward to listening weekly to their insights.
