Max is the owner of The Max.

He often gave advice to the kids of Bayside and reinforces his points with magic tricks. He appeared in only 20 episodes during the first two seasons of the show.
Tribute to Screech[]
When Lisa, Slater, Jessie, Kelly and Zack came to The Max to toast to the memory of the newly-deceased Screech, Max came to their table and told them he had a new addition to the menu: Screech's spaghetti burger. Kevin served a set to the group, which they used to toast to Screech.[1]
