Senior Product Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead, execute and support the development and realization of new and enhanced products/solutions to meet customer needs and/or to secure supply, compliance, and competitiveness.

Key accountabilities

• Lead design activities in the development process, from idea generation through realization until a finished product or solution.
• Define high level requirements for electrical equipment/products and systems
• Translate customer and business needs into user needs and requirements.
• Create system architecture and define system level properties
• Product design and define product properties
• Design Verification of electrical equipment/products and systems
• Usability and Design Validation of electrical equipment/products and systems
• Assess the environmental impact of our concepts and work with LCAs to develop sustainable products/solutions
• Develop product documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. Medical Device Directive or FDA’s QSR) and Mölnlycke’s Quality Management System.
• Work actively with activities to develop and improve our way of working.
• Act as coach and mentor to other Product developers

Qualifications, experience and capabilities

• 5-8 years' experience within product development
• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
• Technical Knowledge in the medical electrical device area, preferably working with embedded systems
• Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to the medical devices.
• Knowledge and experience of working with sustainable product development, utilising LCA as a methodology.
• Deep knowledge in working in a QMS and with Design control
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English written and spoken
• Leadership skills
