Morgan Generation Tech Programme for the third consecutive year! 🚀 Inspiring girls aged 13 to 18, along with junior college students, this one-day challenge guided by J.P. Morgan technologists allowed participants to develop digital applications addressing key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Wellbeing, Reduced Inequalities: and Life Below Water. The energy and innovation brought by these young minds were truly remarkable! 🌍💻 The creativity and brilliance displayed by these young minds were truly awe-inspiring as they passionately shared them in front of our esteemed judging panel, which included industry experts like Wei Han Ong, Denver Scott, Wee Cheng Loh and Chen Hui Ong. 🌟 At IMDA SG Women in Tech, we believe that every girl who participated is a winner in her own right! The Spotlight on Women and Youth in Tech panels held this afternoon in partnership with Asia Tech x Singapore was a dynamic hub of inspiring and empowering conversations! It kickstarted with the panel of “The Learning Revolution – Rebooting Future Education”, where Chan Chun Sing, Gaspard Twagirayezu, Erika Kuročkina, Anindito Aditomo, John C., Matthew Driver and Wee Wei Ng discussed the importance of educators integrating technology into school’s curriculum and adapting it to meet the needs of the future economy, to better prepare the next generation to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. In the panel of “Smashing the Glass Ceiling – Women Who Have Cracked the Code”, Josephine Teo, H.E. Jessica Rosenworcel, Jane Sun, Kuo Pin Ng, Lee Chew Tan, and Vaishali Rastogi discussed how inclusion ignites innovation, as they shared invaluable insights on how female leaders can demonstrate resilience and triumph over systemic challenges in their fields, shattering the glass ceiling in the process. At the panel of “Things I Wish I Knew in My 20s -This Generation of Women Owning the Tech Space”, Akanksha Jagwani, Annabel Lee, Dorothy Yiu, Shazina Zaini, Allyne Zhang and Sun Sun Lim represented a cohort of young women at the forefront of leveraging technology to drive innovation and impact. From spearheading tech start-ups to leading global initiatives, they're rewriting the boundaries of what's achievable in the tech space.
