👏 Today we would like to shine a spotlight on Miguel Pabon, Senior Technical Services Specialist based in Shiji's Florida office. Miguel has led the integration efforts at all Shiji Enterprise Platform installations in the region and has shown not only great technical skills, but also strong leadership. He has a strong desire to continue learning more about our products and integrations, and has provided exceptional support with several key customers' transitions from a legacy PMS to Shiji Enterprise Platform. ⭕ How did you get into hospitality tech? And why are you passionate about it? Miguel: In 2015 I wanted to change career paths and decided to look for opportunities in customer service for either hospitality (which is something my family has done for years) or airlines. I am passionate about this job because it’s very rewarding to be able to help a businesses grow and prosper by utilizing new technologies that I am a part of. ⭕ What about your role gives you the greatest satisfaction? Miguel: When all the hotel integrations are deployed at a new property and are working as intended and I can see the customer’s satisfaction. When I can see all the interfaces lit up and say to myself, "I did that!" Congratulations Miguel! 💫
