TMZ has confirmed the passing of actor Bill Cobbs at the age of 90. He passed away on Tuesday night at his home in Riverside, CA, as stated by his publicist, Chuck I. Jones. The cause of death is currently unclear.

Bill Cobbs was a highly talented American actor with over 50 years of experience in Hollywood. Throughout his long and successful career in both film and television, he showcased his versatile acting skills, earning widespread recognition and respect within the entertainment industry. He is known for his memorable roles in movies such as “Night at the Museum,” “Demolition Man,” “New Jack City”, “The Bodyguard” as well as for his brief appearance on One Life to Live, where he portrayed the role of Marvin Mays.

William Francisco Cobbs was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. His mother, Vera, worked as a domestic worker, while his father, David, was employed in the construction industry. Cobbs lived an admirable life, leaving a lasting impact on those around him until his passing on June 25, 2024.
