Grant, who's currently sidelined by a hamstring injury, leads the league with 80.7 percent of his 850 shots being heavily contested this season.
Grant connecting on 40.1 percent on 5.1 threes per game and hitting 49.0 percent of his two-point jump shots are extremely impressive figures given he's a top option for the injury-depleted Blazers. It's quite plausible that his efficiency would rise in an environment surrounded by more reliable offensive weapons.
The Mavericks have reportedly checked Grant's status on the trade market, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
Grant is entering his second year of a five-year, $190 million contract with the Trail Blazers. The 30-year-old has spent the last two seasons in Portland, where he averaged 20.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.7 blocks while shooting 46.3 percent from the field. Several teams have checked in on Grant, and he could be a valuable addition for a contending team looking for a third scoring option if they can afford to take on his contract.
Ayton could be traded this offseason if the Trail Blazers draft Donovan Clingan, Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports reports.
The latest mock draft from Yahoo Sports has Clingan falling to the Blazers at the No. 7 overall pick, which could mean Ayton being a candidate for an offseason trade. The Trail Blazers have also shown interest in trading up in the draft for Clingan, who's gone as high as the No. 3 overall pick in some mock drafts. In his first season with the Trail Blazers, Ayton averaged 16.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks, shooting an efficient 57.0 percent across 55 games. This productive stat line could mean the Trail Blazers will get a good haul for the big man, especially with the team looking to rebuild.
Brogdon is widely seen as a potential trade candidate during the offseason, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reports.
Brogdon spent the entire 2023-24 season with the Trail Blazers after playing with the Celtics the previous year, and he's expected to be made available via trade once the free-agent market opens up. Several contending teams could use the services of the veteran combo guard, who can play as a starter or as a solid alternative off the bench. Brogdon's versatility and experience should attract several teams, though injury concerns will likely prevent him from signing a long-term deal if he's traded to a contender.

"He is getting better, getting on the court with us," Billups said. "He did a few things in our practice the other day, I thought he looked good so I was really excited about that...We'll just keep trying to ramp him up, challenge him physically to see if he can take it."
The Trail Blazers have nothing to play for in the final 10 days of the 2023-24 regular season, so there's no point in rushing Sharpe's recovery process. He remains a key piece of the team's long-term future, so the Trail Blazers are doing the right thing by being cautious with his recovery. Still, the fact that he's already working on the court bodes well for his chances of returning to action before the end of the campaign April 14.
Avdija is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers after exiting the Wizards' 125-120 loss to the Lakers on Wednesday due to a migraine.

Grant connecting on 40.1 percent on 5.1 threes per game and hitting 49.0 percent of his two-point jump shots are extremely impressive figures given he's a top option for the injury-depleted Blazers. It's quite plausible that his efficiency would rise in an environment surrounded by more reliable offensive weapons.
