The Challenge
Perini Ranch approached Texas Monthly Studio to help celebrate their 40th anniversary. With its incredible history and a natural storyteller in Tom Perini, the idea to produce a narrative podcast series to tell the story of how the steakhouse came to be was born.
The podcast lives on TexasMonthly.com and wherever you listen to podcasts. Original artwork and music were produced for the podcast.
Our Solution
Through a six-part series, the story of Perini Ranch Steakhouse is told, starting from the development of Buffalo Gap, Texas all the way to catering for President’s of the United States. Interviews with cowboys, ranchers, chefs, poets, musicians, actors, and even a former governor of Texas appear in the podcast.
