The drama never stops in Bachelor Nation, and nobody knows that better than The Bachelorette Season 21 cast competing for Jenn Tran’s heart (and final rose.)

There are 25 contestants in The Bachelorette Season 21 cast. The lead of The Bachelorette Season 21 is Jenn Tran, a 26-year-old Physician Assistant Student from Hillsdale, New Jersey, who was sent home in Week 7 on The Bachelor Season 28 with Joey Graziadei. Jenn, who is Vietnamese American, is the first lead of Asian descent in Bachelor or Bachelorette history.

Who’s in The Bachelorette 2024 cast?

Given the lack of Asian men in Jenn’s Bachelorette cast, many fans suspected that Season 21 was originally casted for Maria Georgas, the fourth place finalist from Joey’s Bachelor season, or Daisy Kent, the runner-up. In an interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in March 2024, Maria claimed that she was originally offered the role before she turned it down. If I’m going to be in this world, I have to be honest,” she said, “I was offered the role. I mean, it was mine until I said it wasn’t. To the point where I was doing fittings. It was set in stone.”

Jenn, for her part, seemingly denied Maria’s claim in her own “Call Her Daddy” interview in June 2024 in which she claimed that there were “a lot of narratives out there” that were “not necessarily the truth.” “Every season there are multiple people in contention for the role,” she said, adding, “It’s never really you until it’s you.”

Jenn also addressed the lack of Asian men in her Bachelorette cast in an interview with Glamour at the time. “I can’t really speak to the casting process and the decisions that were made, but it is unfortunate that there weren’t a lot of Asian men this season,” she said..

One Asian contestant she highlighted was Thomas Nguyen, a 31 retirement adviser from Tucker, Georgia, who is also of Vietnamese descent. “It’s not every day that you get to bond with somebody on your immigrant parents and you get to connect with somebody on that level because not everybody can understand that,” she said. “That was a really special conversation for me because [Thomas] really understood where I was coming from, and my family means everything to me…being a child of immigrant parents is something that not everybody can understand. And so, having that conversation with Thomas N. really meant the world.”

Another notable cast member is Aaron Erb, a 29-year-old Aerospace Engineer from Tulsa, Oklahoma, sent himself home in The Bachelorette Season 21, who is also the twin brother of Bachelor Nation alum Noah Erb, who was a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 16 and Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. Also a part of the cast is Caleb “Moze” Smith, who played for the Iowa Barnstormers in the Indoor Football League.
