15 Fictional TV Towns We’d Love to Visit
15 Fictional TV Towns We’d Love to Visit (continued):
9. Capeside, MA (Dawson’s Creek)
Stay in the Potter B&B, located right on the scenic Capeside Creek. Go for a rowboat ride and grab dinner at Leery’s Fresh Fish.
If you’re in the mood for a movie, you can head down to The Rialto or visit Pacey Witter at the local video rental shop.
10. Neptune, CA (Veronica Mars)
Who wouldn’t want to visit the fictional setting of Veronica Mars, Neptune, California? Visit Ocean Beach in style and stay at Neptune Grand. The hotel is notorious for hosting the area’s elite 09ers.
While you’re there, check out Hearst College or swing by Mars Private Investigations.
11. Stars Hollow, CT (Gilmore Girls)
You can stay at the Dragonfly Inn and start your day off by getting coffee at Luke’s Diner. Throw in a dance class at Miss Patty’s, dinner at Al’s Pancake World, and a movie at the Black-White-Read bookstore, and you’ve got the perfect day.
If you stick around for a bit longer, check out one of the many town festivals, take a tour of the Twickham House Museum and observe one of the lively town meetings run by Taylor Doose.
12. Paradise, CA (Bunheads)
As seen on Bunheads, Paradise, CA is just as quirky and fun as Stars Hollow but sunnier and less popular with tourists. Check out a performance at the Paradise Dance Academy and have dinner at the Oyster Bar.
13. Mystic Falls, VA (The Vampire Diaries)
Mystic Falls is full of beautiful old homes from the 1800s and some of their original inhabitants. Visitors can check out the Town Square or go for a drive across The Wickery Bridge (preferably during the daytime).
Travellers should consider purchasing jewelry made of vervain before their trip in order to avoid being compelled by local vampires.
14. Bluebell, AL (Hart of Dixie)
Hart of Dixie’s Bluebell, Alabama is pretty much a dream holiday destination. The town calendar is filled with interesting events, such as Planksgiving (the Bluebell version of Thanksgiving) and the Founder’s Day parade, and the town square has several visit-worthy locations like the Rammer Jammer and The Butter Stick Bakery.
15. Springfield (The Simpsons)
Springfield has so many memorable landmarks, you’ll need to take a two-week vacation to see them all. Highlights include Moe’s Tavern, Evergreen Terrace, Springfield Gorge, The Kwik-E-Mart, The Aztec Theater and The Springfield Tire Fire.
Book your hotel in advance if traveling on Whacking Day.
