Veteran detective, Augustus Landor, enlists a young Edgar Allen Poe to help solve a series of gruesome murders. The Pale Blue Eye premieres on January 6 on Netflix.

Film Description: West Point, 1830. A world-weary detective is hired to discreetly investigate the gruesome murder of a cadet. Stymied by the cadets’ code of silence, he enlists one of their own to help unravel the case — a young man the world would come to know as Edgar Allan Poe.

Servant Season 4 (Apple TV+) – January 13

It’s time to say goodbye to the Turner family, and hopefully, we’ll get some answers along the way. Servant Season 4 premieres on Apple TV+ on January 13 with new episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: Following the suspenseful season three finale, season four will bring the final chapter of the Turner story to an epic and emotional conclusion. Leanne’s war with the Church of Lesser Saints heightens, threatening Spruce Street, the city of Philadelphia, and beyond. Hunters Season 2 (Prime Video) – January 13

The good news is that Hunters Season 2 is almost here. The bad news? It’s the final season. All episodes of Hunters Season 2 drop on Prime Video on January 13.

Season Description: After an accident derails their exploits in Europe, The Hunters must band back together to hunt down history’s most infamous Nazi — Adolf Hitler — who’s hiding in South America. The Drop (Hulu) – January 13

This dark comedy film follows a group of friends on a trip to a tropical island for a friend’s wedding, but friendships are tested after Lex accidentally drops her friend’s baby. The Drop debuts on January 13 on Hulu.

Film Description: The Drop follows Lex (Konkle) and Mani (Fowler), a happily married young couple, running their dream artisanal bakery in Los Angeles and excited about starting a family together. A trip to a tropical island resort for a friend’s destination wedding, coinciding with Lex’s ovulation cycle, feels like the perfect opportunity to conceive. But good vibes and high hopes are cut short when, shortly after their arrival to paradise, Lex accidentally drops her friend’s (Aparna Nancherla) baby in front of all their friends. Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 (Paramount+) – January 15

Mike McLusky is trying to maintain order after the prison riot at the end of Season 1. Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 premieres on January 15 on Paramount+.

Series Description: Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Mich., where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

How I Met Your Father Season 2 (Hulu) – January 24

Sophie and her friends are back for a Season 2! How I Met Your Father Season 2 premieres with one episode on January 24 with new episodes weekly.

We’re headed back to Beacon Hills! Scott and company will have to battle the oni once again and… Allison? Teen Wolf: The Movie debuts on Paramount+ on January 26.

Wolf Pack (Paramount+) – January 26

From the creator of Teen Wolf comes a new supernatural show about werewolves. Wolf Pack premieres on January 26 on Paramount+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature and drives it to attack a highway traffic jam beneath the burning hills. Poker Face (Peacock) – January 26

Charlie hits the road, meets new people, and solves some unusual crimes. Poker Face premieres with four episodes on January 26 with new episodes releasing weekly.

Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel star in this rom-com that follows a couple’s destination wedding that gets derailed when the wedding party is taken hostage. Shotgun Wedding premieres on January 27 on Prime Video.

Shrinking (Apple TV+) – January 27

Created by Jason Segel, Ted Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence, and Ted Lasso star/writer Brett Goldstein, Shrinking is a new comedy series where a therapist starts telling his patients exactly what he thinks, which leads to him and his clients making huge changes to their lives. Shrinking premieres with two episodes on January 27 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Lockwood and Co (Netflix) – January 27

A trio of psychic teens battles the supernatural in this new Netflix series. Lockwood and Co premieres on Netflix on January 27.
