After the death of their mother, Byron and Benny discover that she’s left them a flash drive filled with previously untold stories of her journey from the Caribbean to America. Black Cake premieres with three episodes on November 1 on Hulu with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: The story takes place in Jamaica, Italy, Scotland, England and Southern California. Cerar wrote the adaptation and serves as showrunner on the series, which spans decades. In the late 1960s, a runaway bride named Covey disappears into the surf off the coast of Jamaica and is feared drowned or a fugitive on the run for her husband’s murder. In present day California, a widow named Eleanor Bennett, loses her battle with cancer, leaving her two estranged children, Byron and Benny, a flash drive that holds previously untold stories of her journey from the Caribbean to America. These stories, narrated by Eleanor, shock her children and challenge everything they thought they knew about their family’s origin.

Marie-Laure and her father, Daniel, manage to escape German-occupied Paris and take shelter in a seaside city, and Marie ends up forming an unexpected connection with a German soldier. All The Light We Cannot See premieres on November 2 on Netflix.

Limited Series Description: Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, All The Light We Cannot See is a groundbreaking limited series that follows the story of Marie-Laure, a blind French girl and her father, Daniel LeBlanc, who flee German-occupied Paris with a legendary diamond to keep it from falling into the hands of the Nazis. Relentlessly pursued by a cruel Gestapo officer who seeks to possess the stone for his own selfish means, Marie-Laure and Daniel soon find refuge in St. Malo, where they take up residence with a reclusive uncle who transmits clandestine radio broadcasts as part of the resistance. Yet here in this once-idyllic seaside city, Marie-Laure’s path also collides inexorably with the unlikeliest of kindred spirits: Werner, a brilliant teenager enlisted by Hitler’s regime to track down illegal broadcasts, who instead shares a secret connection to Marie-Laure as well as her faith in humanity and the possibility of hope.

Anne and Jenny have to overcome their differences and work together to pay off their mother’s gambling debts, and they decide the best way to do so is to make Anne a gameshow champion. Quiz Lady premieres on November 3 on Hulu.

Film Description: A brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne, and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister Jenny, must work together to help cover their mother’s gambling debts. When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves (Paramount+) – November 5

The untold story of a legendary lawman in the Old West is coming to Paramount+. Lawmen: Bass Reeves premieres with two episodes on November 5 on Paramount+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: Lawmen: Bass Reeves will bring the legendary lawman and outlaws of the wild west to life. Reeves, known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded. Lawmen: Bass Reeves is an anthology series with future iterations to follow featuring other iconic lawmen and outlaws who have impacted history.

The Buccaneers (Apple TV+) – November 8

Based on Edith Wharton’s final novel, this series follows a group of American women as they travel to London to find a husband. The Buccaneers premieres with three episodes on November 8 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: The Buccaneers are the daughters of America’s new rich — beautiful and untameable, despite the best efforts of England’s finest governesses, they are on their way to London to snare themselves an aristocrat, low in funds but high in class, to make a perfect match.

Colin From Accounts (Paramount+) – November 9

Paramount+ is bringing a popular Australian series stateside. Colin from Accounts premieres with two episodes on November 9 on Paramount+ with two episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: Colin from Accounts is centered on Ashley (Harriet Dyer) and Gordon (Patrick Brammall), two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a nipple flash, a car accident and an injured dog. The series is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true selves, scars and all, as they navigate life together.

Rap Sh!t Season 2 (Max) – November 9

Shawna and Mia are on tour, learning just how far they will go for success. Rap Sh!t Season 2 premieres with two episodes on November 9 on Max with new episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: Rap Sh!t follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia, who reunite to form a rap group. In their rise to fame, Shawna and Mia find themselves at a pivotal moment in their rap career as they are forced to decide if they will stay true to themselves or conform to the demands of the music industry.

For All Mankind Season 4 (Apple TV+) – November 10

Picking up 8 years after Season 3, the new season focuses on mining asteroids that could improve both Earth and Mars’ futures. For All Mankind premieres with one episode on November 10 on Apple TV+.

Season Description: Rocketing into the new millennium in the eight years since season three, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. Now 2003, the focus of the space program has turned to the capture and mining of extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working towards.

The Crown Season 6 Part 1 (Netflix) – November 16

The final season is here, and Part 1 will focus on the relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed. The Crown Season 6 Part 1 is comprised of 4 episodes and premieres on November 16 on Netflix. The Crown Season 6 Part 2 will premiere on December 16.

Season Description: A relationship blossoms between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed before a fateful car journey has devastating consequences.

Prince William tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate.

Three childhood friends set off on a journey to find a legendary treasure. Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain premieres on November 17 on Peacock.

Film Description: In Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, John Goodman narrates the adventure of Ben, Martin, and John, three childhood friends turned deadbeat co-workers, who fend off hairless bears, desperate park rangers (Meg Stalter and X Mayo) and a hypocritical cult leader (Bowen Yang) in the hopes of finding a priceless treasure, only to discover that finding the treasure is the easiest part of their journey. Oh, and Conan O’Brien plays Ben’s dad in it. Produced by Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller, the film is written, executive produced by, and starring Martin Herlihy, John Higgins, and Ben Marshall — aka the Please Don’t Destroy guys — and directed by Paul Briganti.

Graham returns home for Christmas only to discover that his family has invited his ex-fiancée to stay with them over the holiday. EXmas premieres on Amazon FreeVee on November 17.

Film Description: When Graham decides to surprise his family by traveling home for Christmas, he is shocked to discover them already celebrating with an unexpected guest of honor, his ex-fiancée, Ali. The two exes battle it out to see who the family will pick to stay through Christmas Day and who must go. Let the holiday chaos begin!

Good Burger 2 (Paramount+) – November 22

Paramount+ is offering up a bit of nostalgia as we check back in with Ed and Dexter and our favorite fast-food restaurant. Good Burger 2 premieres on November 22 on Paramount+.

Film Description: The highly anticipated film sequel follows Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) and original cashier Ed (Kel Mitchell), as they reunite in the present day at fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a hilarious new group of employees. 

The Artful Dodger (Hulu) – November 29

Jack Dawkins has relocated to Australia, abandoned his criminal ways, and is now a surgeon. However, the past has come back to haunt him, and Jack finds himself back in the criminal underworld. The Artful Dodger premieres on November 29 on Hulu.

Series Description: The Artful Dodger explores the adult double life of Charles Dickens’ famous prince of thieves, Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger, whose fast pickpocketing fingers have turned into the skilled hands of a surgeon.

Set in 1850s Australia, in the lively colony of Port Victory, Dodger’s past returns to haunt him with the arrival of Fagin, luring him back into a world of crime. A greater threat — to Dodger’s heart — is Lady Belle, the Governor’s daughter, determined to become the colony’s first female surgeon.

Obliterated (Netflix) – November 30

After a successful operation, a special forces group decides to let loose and have a little bit of fun. Unfortunately, it turns out they got played, and they still need to stop a deadly attack. Now, they have to do so while intoxicated. Obliterated debuts on November 30 on Netflix.

Season DescriptionObliterated is a high octane action-comedy that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.
