29th Annual Critics Choice Awards: Television Nominations Include ‘The Morning Show’ and ‘Succession’

We’re getting excited about the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards! The television nominees were announced today for the annual event, with The Morning Show leading the contenders with a total of six nominations. 

Meanwhile, drama series Succession has a total of five nominations. A Small Light, Abbott Elementary, Beef, Lessons In Chemistry, Loki, Reservation Dogs, and The Bear have four nominations each.

The winners will be revealed at the Critics Choice Awards gala, which will broadcast LIVE on The CW on Sunday, January 14th from 7:00 – 10:00 pm ET (delayed PT). This year’s event will once again be hosted by Chelsea Handler.

The Critics Choice Awards are bestowed annually to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement. Historically, they are the most accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations. Film category nominations for the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards will be announced on December 14th.
