A First Look at ‘La Brea’ Season 3
La Brea will kick off the new year with its third and final season.
Ty sets the tone for the season by saying, “The lives of the people we love depend on us,” in the sneak peek below.
As previously reported, La Brea Season 3 Episode 1, “Sierra,” premieres on Monday, January 9, 2024 at 9/8c on NBC.
“Sierra” Description: After the clearing’s destroyed in a dinosaur attack, the Survivors must find a new home to live. Gavin discovers a clue about where Eve has gone, but tracking the lead down results in more tragic consequences.
The epic family adventure series premiered with La Brea Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot,” in September 2021. Its second season premiered about a year later, with La Brea Season 2 Episodes 13 and 14, “The Journey, Part 1 / The Journey, Part 2,” airing in February 2023.
The drama follows a group of characters “after a massive sinkhole opens in Los Angeles pulling people and buildings into a mysterious and dangerous primeval land where they have no choice but to band together to survive,” per its official synopsis.
La Brea‘s Season 3 sneak peek teases more dangerous encounters with dinosaurs as Sam tries to find a way home, Eve plans to get back to her family, and Scott looks for his place in this new world. The 40-second sneak peek also teases a romantic future for Riley and Josh.
La Brea stars Eoin Macken, Zyra Gorecki, Chiké Okonkwo, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, Josh Mckenzie, and Jon Seda, with Nicholas Gonzalez, Jack Martin, Veronica St. Clair, Tonantzin Carmelo, and Natalie Zea.
Creator/Showrunner David Appelbaum executive produces the NBC show with Chris Hollier, Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Avi Nir, and Alon Shtruzman.
Universal Television and Australia’s Matchbox Pictures, both divisions of Universal Studio Group in association with Keshet Studios, produce La Brea.
