Preview — 9-1-1 Season 7 Episode 6: The 118 Races to Find Chimney on His and Maddie’s Wedding Day

The 118 works together to find Chimney, who is missing on his and Maddie’s wedding day, on 9-1-1 Season 7 Episode 6, “There Goes the Groom.”

The show returns after a three-week hiatus for a long-awaited Madney wedding — hopefully. The promo video and photos below pick up after the pastel-colored cliffhanger on 9-1-1 Season 7 Episode 5, “You Don’t Know Me.”

Buck and Eddie show up at the wedding venue late and disheveled — to say the very least. When Maddie asks where her groom is, her brother replies, “It’s complicated.” The promo video for “There Goes the Groom” teases a bit about what may complicate Buck and Eddie’s knowledge of Chmney’s whereabouts.

The 80s-themed party appears to take a turn for the worst for Chimney. When Buck and Eddie wake up, Chimney is not in the room with them. He is only seen for a second at the end of the promo video for “There Goes the Groom.” Chimney crawls away from someone while saying, “I’m supposed to be somewhere.”

He’s right, and his bride is on the case — in her wedding dress!

Maddie takes to the call center to try to find Chimney while Bobby and Athena search the streets. Hopefully, Buck and Eddie will be able to remember some vital details (How did Buck’s pant leg catch fire? Where did the rest of Eddie’s shirt go? Where is Chimney?) that will help this wedding finally happen.

9-1-1 returns with “There Goes the Groom” on Thursday, May 2, at 8/7 on ABC.
