Preview — Station 19 Season 7 Episode 6: Will the Mayor Push for Vic’s Termination?
The future of Vic’s job is in Mayor Osman’s hands on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 6, “With So Little To Be Sure Of.”
The Grey’s Anatomy spinoff series returns after a three-week hiatus to continue its final season. If Captain Herrera and Fire Chief Ross can’t intervene, another member of the Station 19 team could lose their job in the remaining episodes.
After interrupting his press conference with the truth on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 5, “My Way,” Mayor Osman has some opinions on whether Vic should keep her job. The promo video shows that Natasha sees right through Osman’s tactics, saying, “It’s your ego. That’s why you want to fire Hughes.”
Osman counters with how Hughes’ termination could solve some of the departement’s budget cost problems. The Mayor tells Chief Ross that she could allocate Hughes’ salary wherever she wants. However, the department is already seeing massive financial cuts because it pulled funding for Crisis One.
“With So Little To Be Sure Of” will also take a look at the deescalation, mental health-forward program. A flashback, presumably featuring Barrett Doss and George Wyner, will highlight how Crisis One has impacted the team and the local community.
Meanwhile, the photos tease that Maya and Carina will revisit Joe’s Bar where they had their first date after their nose-based meet-cute during Season 3. Plus, Ben keeps a secret from Miranda, which is never a good idea.
