Previews, So Help Me Todd

So Help Me Todd’s penultimate episode teases a chaotic collision course as the season closes in around Crest, Folding & Wright.

On So Help Me Todd Season 2 Episode 9, “The Broker,” the tensions surrounding the firm’s shadier dealings and Margaret’s struggle to save it from bankruptcy intensify as the FBI steps in.

After finding out Alex is an undercover FBI agent sent to investigate the firm, Todd has no choice but to help keep the sting operation under wraps.

As Todd helps Agent Ariel Josephs (a.k.a. Alex) with her secret case, he learns everyone at the firm could be a potential suspect.

Indeed, Todd’s status as an independent contractor makes it difficult for him to warn his mother of the FBI’s involvement. After all the work Margaret has done to protect her employees and the firm, this information could push her over the edge.

Thankfully, she’s preoccupied with helping Gus with his fairness hearing for a class action settlement — a project that requires every employee to work through the weekend to complete.

If the remaining Crest, Folding & Wright staff didn’t already dislike their new acting partner for the mass layoffs, working the weekend is unlikely to make them Team Margaret.
