Mia McKenna-Bruce to Star in Netflix’s Agatha Christie Series ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’
The Seven Dials Mystery, a new Agatha Christie series coming to Netflix, has found its cast.
Variety exclusively reported that Mia McKenna-Bruce will star in the series with Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman.
The Seven Dials Mystery takes place in England in 1925. “At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong,” per its synopsis via Netflix’s TUDUM.

“It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths — the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent — to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.”
Bruce stars as Lady Eileen in the series that will go into production this summer.
Netflix UK & Ireland celebrated the casting news by sharing a photo of BAFTA Rising Star Award winner McKenna-Bruce with Christie’s book on X (formerly Twitter).
The Seven Dials Mystery is penned by Broadchurch creator Chirs Chibnall and executive produced by Suzanne Mackie of Orchid Pictures and Chris Sussman. Chris Sweeney will executive produce and direct.

Chibnall executive produces through his company Imaginary Friends, and Christie’s great-grandson James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited is also an executive producer. Andy Stebbing will executive produce, while Joanna Crow will be series producer.
“Chris Chibnall’s scripts are brilliant, and I am thrilled to be part of this new interpretation of the iconic Agatha Christie’s storytelling,” McKenna-Bruce said in a statement, per Variety.
“I am excited to be bringing The Seven Dials Mystery to life, and to be introducing a new generation of iconic Christie characters to the screen. It has been a joy to work with Chris Chibnall in creating this bold, authored, and ambitious vision for the series,” Mackie shared.
“Together with Chris Sussman and Agatha Christie Limited and, under the masterful direction of Chris Sweeney, we are thrilled to embark on this creative journey. I could not think of a more exciting first project for Orchid Pictures, or a more perfect home for this story than Netflix,” Mackie added.

“Bundle Brent is one of my great grandmother’s raft of interesting humorous sharp young female characters,” Prichard said.
“To see her brought to life through the words of Chris Chibnall and this production with Orchid Pictures and Netflix is a dream come true. I think viewers will love this world that we have created, and hope for more,” Prichard concluded.
The Seven Dials Mystery is the first series to go into production from Orchid Pictures. Mackie founded the company in 2020 with a 12-year deal under Netflix.
The streamer first announced the series in April 2024.
