Space Cadet (Prime Video) – July 4

Rex has her sights set on the stars, and she’ll do anything, even lie a bit on a NASA application, to get there. Keeping up with her fellow astronauts-in-training is nothing she can’t handle. Space Cadet premieres on July 4 on Prime Video.

Sunny (Apple TV+) – July 10

After the loss of her husband and son, Suzie’s given Sunny, a domestic robot, and the two of them form an unlikely friendship. Sunny premieres with two episodes on July 10 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: Sunny stars Rashida Jones as Suzie, an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, whose life is upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash. As “consolation” she’s given Sunny, one of a new class of domestic robots made by her husband’s electronics company. Though at first, Suzie resents Sunny’s attempts to fill the void in her life, gradually they develop an unexpected friendship. Together they uncover the dark truth of what really happened to Suzie’s family and become dangerously enmeshed in a world Suzie never knew existed.

Divorce in the Black (Prime Video) –  July 11

Ava learns that her husband is not only leaving her but also ruined her chance at true love in the past. Divorce in the Black premieres on July 11 on Prime Video.

Film Description: Ava, a young bank professional, is devastated when her husband, Dallas, abandons a marriage she is determined to fight for until fate intervenes, revealing Dallas’ wicked deeds that have trashed their marriage, and once upon a time sabotaged Ava’s destiny to be loved by her true soulmate.

Descendants: The Rise Of Red (Disney+) – July 12

Once a Villain Kid, Uma is now the new Headmaster of Auradon Prep, and she’s making big changes to the school: she’s opening the school to all kingdoms, inviting Princess Red from Wonderland. Descendants: The Rise of Red premieres on July 12 on Disney+.

Film Description: Now Headmaster of Auradon Prep, former Villain Kid Uma extends an invite to the school to another VK – Red, the rebellious daughter of the tyrannical Queen of Hearts from Wonderland. The Queen of Hearts has long held a grudge against Auradon, especially against Cinderella, and seizes the opportunity to seek revenge when she drops her daughter off at school. When the Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, Red must team up with Cinderella’s perfectionist daughter Chloe as they travel back in time to try to undo the traumatic event that set the young Queen of Hearts down her villainous path.

Those About to Die (Peacock) – July 18

Travel back to the Roman Empire and explore the ins and outs of the brutal gladiator competitions. Those About to Die premieres with all episodes on July 18 on Peacock.

Series Description: Those About to Die is an epic drama set in the corrupt world of the spectacle-driven gladiatorial competition, exploring a side of ancient Rome never before told — the dirty business of entertaining the masses, giving the mob what they want most… blood and sport. The series introduces an ensemble of characters from all corners of the Roman Empire who collide at the explosive intersection of sports, politics, and dynasties.

Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 1 (Netflix) – July 18

It’s the final season, and Cobra Kai has been kicked out of the Valley. Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 1 drops on Netflix on July 18 with Part 2 releasing on November 28, and the final five episodes will be released in 2025.

Season Description: With Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai — the world championships of karate.

Lady in the Lake (Apple TV+) – July 19

Maddie and Cleo’s seemingly different lives become intertwined in a way neither expected. Lady in the Lake premieres with two episodes on July 19 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Series Description: When the disappearance of a young girl grips the city of Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966, the lives of two women converge on a fatal collision course. Sweet Home Season 3 (Netflix) – July 19

It’s time for the final showdown between monsters and humans. After Sang-wook announces that people showing symptoms are granted clemency, the non-symptomatic survivors struggle to figure out what to do next. Sweet Home Season 3 premieres on July 19 on Netflix.

Season Description: In a world where monsterization ends and a new era of humanity begins, those standing at the blurred crossroads between monsters and humans face an even greater struggle to make a difficult choice.

The Decameron (Netflix) – July 25

A group of nobles hide out in a villa, hoping to wait out the plague that’s sweeping through the general public. Soon they learn just how far some will go in order to survive. The Decameron premieres on Netflix on July 25.

Series Description: The Black Death strikes hard in the Italian countryside in 1348, and a handful of nobles retreat to a grand villa with their servants. But what starts as a wine-soaked sex romp descends into a race for survival in this soapy dark comedy.

Futurama Season 12 (Hulu) – July 29

It’s time to check back in with our favorite crew as they head out on some adventures. Futurama Season 12 premieres on July 29 on Hulu with episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: On this orbit around the sun, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender’s ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee.
