Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! Our picks for the week of June 16th include some fun summer premieres, jaw-dropping finales, and a few exciting episodes.

This week, we feature Hotel Cocaine, Evil, Shoresy, and more!

King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra find Westeros on the brink of civil war as their Green and Black Councils take up arms for their respective royal. House of the Dragon Season 2 premieres Sunday, June 16th at 9/8c on HBO.

Episode Description: Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war as the Green and Black Councils take up arms for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively.

Hotel Cocaine – Sunday, June 16th

It’s the ’70s, and Miami’s popular nightclub, The Mutiny, is managed by Roman Compte. His life is turned on its head when the DEA asks him to spy on his estranged brother, Nestor, in the hopes of stopping his cocaine import business. Hotel Cocaine premieres Sunday, June 16th on MGM+.

Episode Description: Roman Compte, general manager of Miami’s wildly popular Mutiny Club, is forced by the DEA to spy on his estranged older brother Nestor Cabal, the city’s biggest importer of cocaine.

The 77th Tony Awards – Sunday, June 16th

The event of the year for theater fans, young and old, has arrived. This year, the Tony’s will honor shows such as Merrily We Roll AlongStereophonicIllinoiseWater for Elephants, and more. The 77th Annual Tony Awards airs Sunday, June 16th at 8/7c on CBS and Paramount+.

Event Description: The 77th Tony Awards will be held on June 16, 2024, to recognize achievement in Broadway productions during the 2023–24 season. The ceremony will be held at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York City, and air on CBS. Ariana DeBose will host for the third year in a row.

Spencer makes some lavish purchases in celebration of what he hopes will be a positive draft day. Meanwhile, Olivia stresses about her first book signing while Jordan tries to decide who he’ll pick as his best man. All American airs Monday, June 17th at 8/7c on The CW.

Disco: Soundtrack of a Revolution – Tuesday, June 18th

This series takes things back to ’70s NYC and dives into the history of the disco revolution created within the gay and Black communities. Disco: Soundtrack of a Revolution premieres Tuesday, June 18th at 8/7c on PBS.

Presumed Innocent – Wednesday, June 19th

As new secrets emerge, Barbara realizes she must take steps to protect herself and her family. Meanwhile, Rusty learns what evidence is against him. Presumed Innocent airs Wednesday, June 19th on Apple TV+.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School – Thursday, June 20th

Things come to a head when the girls focus on their last possible suspect in the case of Bloody Rose Waters’ identity. Pretty Little Liars: Summer School Season 2 finale airs Thursday, June 20th on Max.

Episode Description: Pretty Little Liars focuses on the last person on their list of suspects and tries to discover the identity of Bloody Rose Waters once and for all.

Evil – Thursday, June 20th

Kristen, David, and Ben must travel overseas to the Vatican to look at a possible relic from Jesus’ cross. Meanwhile, things continue to get worse at home for the Bouchard girls and Andy. Evil airs Thursday, June 20th on Paramount+.

Shoresy – Friday, June 21st

Everyone’s favorite hockey players are back for another outing! This time around, the National Senior Tournament has begun, but the Bulldogs are hurt. Shoresy premieres Friday, June 21st on Hulu.

Doctor Who – Friday, June 21st

It all comes down to one woman when the Doctor’s future hangs in the balance as he goes up against The One Who Waits. Doctor Who season finale airs Friday, June 21st on Disney+.

Episode Description: The Doctor has lost, his ageless enemy reigns supreme, and a shadow is falling over creation. Nothing can stop the devastation – except, perhaps, one woman.
