ABC Announces Fall 2024 Premiere Dates for ‘9-1-1,’ ‘Abbott Elementary,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ & More

ABC has announced fall premiere dates for new and returning series in its 2024/2025 season, including 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Bachelor franchise’s latest iteration.

This news comes after the network announced its programming for the upcoming season in May.

Crime procedural High Potential, written by Drew Goddard and starring Kaitlin Olson, is among the freshman series joining ABC’s lineup. It will join Dancing with the Stars on Tuesdays, beginning on September 17.

Executive producer Ryan Murphy’s new drama series Doctor Odyssey, starring Joshua Jackson and Don Johnson, will debut on Thursday, September 26, alongside 9-1-1 Season 8 and Grey’s Anatomy Season 21.

The Golden Bachelorette, with new leading lady Joan Vassos, debuts on Wednesday, September 18. Meanwhile, Abbott Elementary will return for its highly-anticipated fourth season on Wednesday, October 9, followed by the ABC News Studios docuseries Scamanda. 

A new season of 20/20 premieres on Friday, September 20, and Shark Tank Season 16 joins the night on October 18. America’s Funniest Home Videos Season 25 begins on Sunday, September 29, before The Wonderful World of Disney world TV premiere of the live-action The Little Mermaid. 

Airdates and additional movies that will be included in ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney world television and broadcast premieres will be announced later. 

Plus, Monday Night Football will return for select weeks beginning on Monday, September 9. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will return for Pat Sajak’s final spin hosting the series on Monday, October 7. It will be followed by the Elizabeth Banks-hosted game show Press Your Luck. 

The Rookie Season 7, Will Trent Season 3, and the seventh and final season of The Conners will debut midseason. Other midseason TV shows include American Idol, The Bachelor, Celebrity Jeopardy!, What Would You Do?, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Their premiere dates will be announced later.

All original programming will stream the next day on Hulu, and Dancing with the Stars will also simulcast live on Disney+.
