The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin Renewed for Season 2 by Apple TV+

The adventures continue for Dick Turpin!

The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin has been renewed for a second season by Apple TV+. Set in the 18th century, Noel Fielding stars in the titular role as “the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship, and great hair.”

While the streamer hasn’t announced the casting or premiere date for the sophomore season, Apple TV+ “promises another round of fantastical adventures for Turpin, with a host of great British comedy talent set to star.”

“Together with his gang of lovable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavors, including a brush with celebrity,” on The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin Season 2.

The comedy-adventure series premiered with The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2, “A Legend Is Born (Sort Of) / The Unrobbable Coach,” on Friday, March 1, 2024.

The six-episode debut season ended with The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin Season 1 Episode 6, “Turpin Time,” later that month. 

Apple TV+ revealed the premiere date for the series in January 2024 ahead of another sneak peek during the 2024 Winter Television Critics Association press tour in February 2024. 

The first season starred Ellie White, Marc Wootton, Duayne Boachie, Bonneville, Tamsin Greig, Asim Chaudhry, Dolly Wells, Joe Wilkinson, Mark Heap, Geoff McGivern, Michael Fielding, Samuel Leakey, and Kiri Flaherty.

Claire Downes, Ian Jarvis, and Stuart Lane created The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Big Talk Studios, part of ITV Studios.

The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin is written by Richard Naylor and Jon Brittain with Noel Fielding. Ben Palmer will direct the second season.

Kenton Allen, Big Talk Studios, Noel Fielding, Victoria Grew, Big Talk Studios, Anthony Wilcox, and Ben Palmer executive produce. Naylor and Brittain are co-executive producers.
