McDonald. Jr. of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law, Becky McDonald of Greensboro, NC.

After Raleigh graduated high school from The Westminster Schools, Atlanta GA in 1962, she attended Vanderbilt University where she met her husband, Buck, on a blind date in 1962. Raleigh was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and later became Co-Chairman of the 1984 Eve of Janus and president of the Tri Delta Alumnae Association.

Raleigh was so talented in many ways, especially her culinary skills. She was a cookbook author, managed a successful catering business and was President of National Embroidery Works, Inc. One of her greatest joys was traveling to Italy 16 times. Those travels led to her starting an import business, LoveFromItalia.com.

She was a skilled decorator and gardener where she filled her home with love and treasures she had collected on her travels. Her family and many friends always loved to attend dinner parties in Raleigh’s home. Raleigh always showed love and kindness to all she met.
