TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools is gearing up for an extensive hiring fair aimed at filling a variety of operations roles within the district. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will be held at the TPS Maintenance Facilities Building located at 1555 N. 77th E. Ave.

Wide Range of Positions and Career Advancement Opportunities Available at Tulsa Public Schools Hiring Fair

Open positions include roles in Maintenance and Plant Operations, Child Nutrition, Transportation, and Campus Police and School Safety. For most of these roles, a high school diploma or GED is sufficient. However, certain positions, such as school police officers, electricians, and HVAC technicians, may require specific certifications. Tulsa Public Schools supports employees in obtaining necessary qualifications and offers pathways to specialized certifications, including CDL licensing for prospective bus drivers.

The hiring fair provides a unique opportunity for potential applicants to meet with representatives from various TPS departments, learn about the available positions, and explore career advancement opportunities within the district. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions and guide applicants through the application process.
