Fact-Checking Policy
The Black Wall Street Times is committed to publishing the news accurately. The BWSTimes uses both internal and external fact-checking processes to verify our stories.
Externally, two major fact-checking organizations we use to verify our statements made by public figures like politicians are Politifact and Fackcheck.org. Moreover, we include links to reports from well-established, more prominent news publications such as The New York Times and the Washington Post (but not limited to), and the Associated Press, where we are members.
Internally, we audio record or video all interviews we conduct. We’re quickly able to retrieve interviews easily.
We also have a strict anti-bullying, policy and monitor our comment section, which includes comments on our various social media pages (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). We reserve the right to block or remove behavior we deem inappropriate. We remove comments that use hate speech or profanity.
We’re proud of the amount of trust the general public and the US government have in our growing news publication.

Ethics Policy

To ensure The Black Wall Street Times doesn’t digitally reprint content published without the original creator’s consent, our organization uses software that allows our led editors to do a quick search across the net to guarantee The BWSTimes isn’t plagiarizing.
Most national and international images are retrieved from the Associated Press, with which we are members and have permission to use their photos.
Corrections Policy
If The BWSTimes misprints a statement and the issue is brought to our attention, we can quickly recheck our recordings and retract or correct the information. If you notice a fact error or misprint in our work, please contact Nehemiah D. Frank at nehemiah@bwstimes.com
The BWSTimes also updates articles when news on a particular story continues to develop.
