Thousands of vapes and hundreds of kilos of illicit tobacco have been seized from properties in WA’s regions during a crackdown by police into an illegal tobacco ring worth millions.

Detectives from the serious and organised crime squad executed six warrants at WA properties in the South West and Mid West Gascoyne since late June as part of their fight against an illicit tobacco network allegedly linked to members of a Middle Eastern crime group responsible for fire bombings in Victoria.
