Disrupt Burrup Hub: Protesters blockade road leading to Karratha gas plants ends in charges

A serial climate activist has been charged for allegedly blocking access to Woodside’s Burrup Hub project on Friday — almost three years since a 14-hour-long protest was held on the same road.

Police received reports of an unplanned protest at the intersection of Burrup Road and Dampier Road in Karratha, the only route leading to the gas infrastructure on the peninsula, about 4.10am on Friday.
