West Coast veteran forward Jack Darling fires in WAFL return after AFL axing

West Coast forward Jack Darling has responded to his axing with a strong performance in his first WAFL game in nearly a decade, including sealing the upset victory off his own boot.

Darling, 32, was the biggest casualty of the Eagles’ 54-point loss to Melbourne last weekend, with interim coach Jarrad Schofield making a statement at the selection table.
