Stranger Things Season 3 Episode Titles Revealed — What Could They Mean?
Stranger Things is kicking off its Season 3 mystery early by revealing the (potentially spoiler-y?) titles of its upcoming episodes, some more ominous than others. Netflix on Sunday posted a video with all eight titles, underscored by the chill-inducing theme song. And those titles are…
1. “Suzie, Do You Copy?”
2. “The Mallrats”
3. “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard”
4. “The Sauna Test”
5. “The Source”
6. “The Birthday”
7. “The Bite”
8. “The Battle of Starcourt”
We still don’t know much about Stranger Things‘ upcoming third season, aside from it being set in the summer of 1985 and largely taking place at the mall, making these titles all the more intriguing. For example, whose birthday will we be celebrating? Who’s being bitten? And what’s the source… of what? (OK, we’re admittedly grasping at straws here, though we are getting major virus vibes from some of those titles.)
This is the second teaser video Netflix has released for Season 3, the first being a faux advertisement for the Starcourt Mall, which appears to be hosting the season’s final battle, if the title of that season finale is any indication. That initial video also delivered the bummer news that new episodes won’t hit the streaming service until Summer 2019, though Netflix bosses insist they’ll be “worth the wait.”

“Largely taking place at the mall”
Does that mean the whole season is going to be set over a day at the mall, or along those lines?
No, it doesn’t. They have shot scenes in other places as well, and the cast has several outfit changes over the season. It’ll probably be similar to the first two seasons, taking place over a week or so.
Let’s remember that, in Season 2, when they announced the titles, some of them were NOT the actual titles to prevent spoilers.

Obviously they’re going to meet the zombies of the Upside Down at the mall. They’ll compare prices and styles between dimensions, before the zombie virus kicks in.
I am so excited! This was filmed at the mall I went to while growing up. Cannot wait!
Sticking with the tradition of D&D-inspired monsters, the most famous biting monsters from the role-playing-game are vampires and lycanthropes. Another possibility tied to biting is zombies, and as there already is a movie about a zombie outbreak where characters are trapped in a mall, this might not be too far fetched. If the effect that afflicted Will last season spreads, we might have to deal with a zombie-like infestation. I find this a more plausible monster than the aforementioned lycanthropes, as shapeshifting is not an effect we’ve witnessed in the series thus far.
Maybe in The mallrats episode, Hopper or any other character will see some abnormal behavior or something strange related to rats just like the season 2 vines…which will lead us to the main story…and i hope we won’t see Demogorgon and Demo-Dogs together!

Eagerly waiting for 4th July 2019 for the first episode. Hope they make this season worth waiting.
