Who wore it best, Westeros edition?

Sunday’s House of the Dragon found Emma D’Arcy’s Rhaenyra donning a disguise and slipping back into King’s Landing in a last-ditch effort to avert war between her side and Alicent, Aegon & Co. During the surreptitious, unannounced visit, she dressed like a septa — aka a female clergy member in the Faith of the Seven — in part to hide her highly recognizable, silvery Targaryen hair.

Then she sat near a praying Alicent in the sept, where the former friends eventually realized that the dowager queen had misinterpreted King Viserys’ dying words, kicking off the fight for the Iron Throne in which both sides were now engaged. (Read a full recap.)

D’Arcy’s costume was reminiscent of one Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) wore when she played Septa Unella in Game of Thrones — and Waddingham chimed in on the prequel’s official Instagram account to make sure people knew.

“That’s MY outfit!!! Get it off!!!!” the actress commented under a photo of D’Arcy and Anthony Flanagan, who plays Ser Steffon Darklyn. Then she jokingly invoked memories of one of Septa Unella’s best-known moments: when she walked behind a naked and shorn Cersei, ringing a bell and chanting “Shame!,” in Thrones‘ Season 5 finale.

“#dingshamedingshame,” she added.

Waddingham previously has spoken about feeling “waterboarded” during another of Septa Unella’s famous scenes: the Season 6 finale moment when Cersei gets revenge for the aforementioned walk of shame and tortures Septa Unella by nearly drowning her with wine.
