Two CW shows that survived the network’s behind-the-scenes overhaul finally have return dates.
All American Season 6 will premiere Monday, April 1 at 8/7c, while Walker will kick off Season 4 on Wednesday, April 3 at 8 pm, it was announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Thursday. Walker will be followed that night (at 9 pm) by the freshman crime drama Sight Unseen, starring The Originals‘ Daniel Gillies.
A return date for the spinoff All American: Homecoming was noticeably absent from Thursday’s announcement, as was a date for Superman & Lois‘ final season. According to CW execs, the former will return for Season 3 after All American wraps its 13-episode run (sometime in summer, presumably), and the latter is being held for fall; get details here.
Over on the unscripted side, The CW has also shared premiere dates for FBoy Island spinoff Lovers and Liars (April 1); dating show Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker (Thursday, April 11), in which The Millionaire Matchmaker‘s Stanger and The Bachelor‘s Nick Viall team up to help singles find love; Season 2 of the sports docuseries 100 Days to Indy (Friday, April 26); and the law enforcement-focused Police 24/7 and Hostage Rescue, both debuting on Tuesday, April 30.
Here’s all of that again, now in list form!

Walker, All American, All American: Homecoming and Superman & Lois are the only original CW shows to have been renewed from last season following the network’s acquisition by Nexstar Media Group. That change in brass resulted in a creative overhaul for The CW’s lineup, with a new focus on sports programming, foreign imports and replays of series such as Hallmark Channel’s one-and-done Ride and ABC’s The Conners.
The quartet’s returns were also delayed by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, with shorter runs expected during the upcoming seasons. The Jared Padalecki-starring Walker reboot was renewed for a 13-episode fourth season, whereas the first three seasons ranged between 18-20 episodes. The Season 3 finale ended with several dangling threads, including a MIA body, a resurfaced serial killer and a potentially rekindled Cordell/Geri romance. (Get a first look at Walker Season 4.)
Meanwhile, All American was picked up early in January 2023 for a 13-episode sixth season, before closing Season 5 with a cliffhanger in which Patience was stabbed by a stalker.

The CW is officially circling the drain, at least as far as this viewer is concerned.
I used to watch The CW almost every single night. Now? Looks like once a week until what I still watch is canceled.
Excited for Walker to come back. I wonder if it will be the last season, though.
The CW president said that Walker and the All American shows are now financially secure enough that “as long as they keep rating, there’s no reason why we can’t keep them.” There’s a strong possibility it will come back!
More recently, today, he said, “We’ll see how they do!”
Looks like Walker will be the only CW show I watch this upcoming season
I don’t know how hard I have to beg, but please let the All American shows start using sentence-case closed captioning in their next seasons.
very awesome
So reruns and cheap imports during the fall but your most popular shows you’re gonna run during the summer? No way can you convince me real people are making these decisions. The CW is ran by AI.
It’s not a new thing. CW has aired new episodes of its popular shoes during the summer months (whether produced in the US or elsewhere) for years, even before Nexstar’s majority ownership.
Annoyed the CW didn’t think this through. I feel like they could have ended the slated shows that were cancelled in 2022 and drew outrage (Legacies, Legends of Tomorrow, Charmed, Roswell) and could have slowly integrated sports over time…
I don’t think this strategy is working and it diminishes the quality of the name in my opinion
What happened to Mysteries Decoded?
I asked the host on her instagram and she said its still going to air, they just havent released the dates yet
I used to watch the CW all the time. Now, not at all.
Has World’s Funniest Animals been cancelled? It only aired a few episodes in the return to Fridays before being pulled, tomorrow a different animal show premieres there. I hope episode 7 of season 4 is at least made available on demand, never did get put on my X1 box like I assumed it would.
What about Family Law? Renewed or Cancelled? How many episodes?
The show’s originating network in Canada (Global) recently renewed it for a 10-episode fourth season.
What happened to Sullivans Crossing?
They have already filmed season 2 (or at least they were wrapping up a little while ago). It airs in Canada on CTV in April (date unknown). So cross your fingers for a CW date soon.
Note to tvline – Sullivan’s crossing is not in your “When is my show back” list.
Few imports are. –Mgmt
That makes me concerned for The Spencer Sisters. It had better get a season 2 airing here.
What about 61st Street?
