Spotted: A former Gossip Girl returning to The CW.

Leighton Meester will star in Good Cop/Bad Cop, a procedural dramedy co-production between The CW, The Roku Channel and Australia’s Stan.

Created by John Quaintance (Reboot, Will & Grace), the eight-episode series centers around Lou (Meester) and Henry (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’s Luke Cook), “an odd couple sister and brother detective team in a small Pacific Northwest police force,” per the official synopsis. “They must contend with colorful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamic with each other and with their police chief, Big Hank (Dexter: New Blood’s Clancy Brown)—who happens to be their father.”

Good Cop/Bad Cop hails from Jeff Wachtel’s Future Shack Entertainment and Jungle Entertainment and is slated to begin filming later this spring in Queensland, Australia, for a 2025 premiere on The CW. The show will stream on The Roku Channel in the U.S. and Stan in Australia.
