Roseanne’s Sandra Bernhard, Morgan Fairchild Hash Out On-Set Beef Decades Later
Morgan Fairchild and Sandra Bernhard have put their Roseanne beef to bed.
It all started when Bernhard admitted on a June 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live that she hadn’t always been kind to Fairchild — who appeared in a few episodes of the ABC sitcom as Marla, Bernhard’s on-screen girlfriend.
“It’s one of my biggest regrets that I wasn’t nicer to her,” Bernhard confessed to host Andy Cohen. “I would like to say to Morgan: You were incredible to work with. You went there. We were the first gay couple on TV… I owe you an apology. I adore you, and thank you for putting up with my snotty little attitude.”
Fairchild has since addressed her former castmate in a post on X, responding to a video of the apology.
“I’m very touched by [Bernhard]’s words,” Fairchild wrote. “Very nice of her. Yes, it was a difficult set for me, but that’s show biz.” The actress invited Bernhard to send her a message so the pair could grab coffee.
Bernhard posted a reply on X, calling Fairchild a “groovy, open, talented person,” and agreed to “break it all down over a cup of Joe.”
Following up on the saga on Saturday, Fairchild revealed, “[Bernhard] has reached out and we are in touch.”

Morgan seems like a nice person. Always enjoyed her on Knots Landing. Sandra always seemed unpleasant in every interview I’ve ever read. Glad to see she’s mellowed out and decided kindness really is the best way.
Morgan Fairchild wasn’t on Knot’s Landing. Are you maybe thinking Falcon Crest? Or confusing her with Donna Mills, another gorgeous blond that was on Knot’s?

I’ve got to say, if no one new about this beef, that says a lot about Morgan Fairchild’s integrity. Per Sandra, Morgan wasn’t treated well on set, and in all the years since, Morgan never spoke of it publicly. It’s a shame it took a random question on a random appearance all these years later to point it out, but it’s sweet that they are in touch and looking to work it out!
Is this why they haven’t popped up on The Conners? I know Nancy was in the Roseanne revival, though.
Sandra has that face that looks like she’s ready to just rip you in the shreds if you say the wrong word or if you think the wrong thought. She is the original or the goat of the resting b**** face
