Lucy Lawless is “court”-ing a nasty welt or two in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek from the fourth season of My Life Is Murder.
In the lighthearted mystery series, Lawless plays Alexa Crowe, a fearless and unapologetic investigator who takes on puzzling cases. Season 4 kicks off Monday, June 17 with a double-episode premiere on Acorn TV (that also airs on BBC America at 9/8c), with additional episodes dropping weekly.
In the season opener, titled “To Dye For,” a wealthy socialite dies amid suspicious circumstances, leaving her entire fortune to… her cat. To uncover the truth, Alexa investigates a world of high society gossip and hostile hair stylists.
In the second episode, “Tough Love,” Alexa investigates the death of a tennis coach, knowing that a glamorous rival is determined to solve the case before her. Watch a sneak peek above, in which Alexa and Madison (Ebony Vagulans) test out the murder weapon — a tennis ball machine!
All told in My Life Is Murder‘s eight-episode Season 4, “Alexa is bringing her friends and family along for the ride,” says the official synopsis.
“Tech guru Madison is stepping up, contributing her considerable technical skills to Alexa’s investigations and the two of them have fallen into a comfortable mentor-mentee relationship.” Additionally, “Cafe owner Reuben (Joe Naufahu) is stepping in…. Brother Will (Martin Henderson) is staying close…. Detective Harry (Rawiri Jobe) has Alexa’s back…. And cranky cat Chowder can’t help complicating everything.”

I plead the fifth … I mean, I plead for making a fifth … I really do hope for a fifth season!
Me too. Love the show.
Me three. With all the politics everywhere, wars, natural disasters, etc. this show is a really fun 45 minute distraction! Having Martin Henderson (Will) around more frequently will be an added bonus.😉
LOL
I liked this show until it moved from Australia and lost a couple of characters. It just had a different feel.
Recently watched the complete season, really good! Hope they confirm a season 5 ASAP!
