Enzo Tech is an on-demand service bringing IT professionals and companies together across Europe for everyone to reap the rewards. You don't want to hear the usual recruitment talk. In our first year trading the business turned over €2.500.000 (2021), our second year we experienced fantastic growth due to the close collaboration with clients and candidates to over €11.000.000 turnover (2022). Our third year we didn't slow down and grew to €23.200.000 turnover (2023). This has been done organically and without external investment. We focus on the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. With 25 years experience across the regions, we're familiar with the challenges and also the opportunities. We know our ABCs, that's Amsterdam Berlin and Charleroi!     𝐄𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 - 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒! 🏅🤾♂️🏆🎯 On Friday, we held our annual company sports day, and after two PB months, we really went all out! The day was filled with inflatable fun, competitive races, a bar, and a food truck, all following this year’s festival theme. Sports day is one of our favourite team-building rewards. The day is super competitive and gives everyone a great chance to connect outside of work.     𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐈 – 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝?🌐 The EU's new AI Act is a significant step forward in the digital intelligence sphere, as a regulatory framework has now been put in place to ensure the safe and ethical development and use of artificial intelligence technologies within the European Union. The key takeaway from the act is the introduction of different risk levels for AI applications: Unacceptable Risk – Applications that are banned from the public domain, including systems that manipulate human behaviour or exploit vulnerabilities. High Risk – AI systems, such as those used in critical infrastructure, education, and employment, are subject to stringent requirements, including transparency, robustness, and accountability measures. Developers must undergo compliance assessments and maintain detailed documentation. Low Risk – AI applications that are subject to minimal obligations, primarily focusing on transparency, such as informing users they are interacting with an AI system. The Act also establishes a European Artificial Intelligence Board to oversee implementation and compliance and promotes innovation by creating regulatory safe spaces for experimentation with AI. Overall, the AI Act aims to foster trust in AI technologies while protecting fundamental rights and ensuring a harmonized approach across the EU. #Tech #AI #Europe

Along with a company sports day coming up, the entire company will be heading for a weekend in Barcelona next month as a result of hitting the team target. The weekend will include team-building activities, sightseeing, a team dinner, and a VIP evening at one of Barcelona's best nightclubs. 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬🌐 As a company based around building strong relationships with contractors in the technology industry, we often here from system engineers how arduous and difficult system migrations can be for companies. The migration involves changing existing systems for new ones, halting the majority of previous processes and leaving customers frustrated and waiting for any sort of update. The biggest reoccurring flaw for system migrations seems to boil down to integration problems and poor communication with customers. With the general consensus being so negative, it is understandable for some senior managers to dread the idea of system migrations and automatically associate it with stress. However, there are steps companies can take in order to ease the associated pain to create a more seamless experience.   The Cure: Changing the Pain to Peace ⬇️ Stay Vigilant – There is famous saying, “expect the unexpected” and this is particularly applicable for system migrations. It’s essential to have a reserve of experts at the front lines to deal with unexpected bugs, workload, and complaints. This team can be on-site or temporary contractors but their role and value to ensuring a painless migration are invaluable. Check the Market – The market is huge and that means the chances of another company running a similar migration of a new software package is very high. Taking the time to reach out to other vendors and seeing what the experience was like for them, what areas posed a problem, and if they have any recommendations for your migration can save you time, money and stress in the long term. Recognise. Address. Adapt. – When working on a system migration it is key to put in place rollback and recovery points to allow businesses opportunities to recognise issues, plan how to address them, and adapt their current plan. This method means you can keep your company running while moving forward with the migration and minimising customer complaints. What are your thoughts? I've witnessed recruitment companies, first-hand, bringing on new recruiters and on day one tell them to 'get on the phone' with minimal support and training.
