Summer Party Highlights - London and Taipei! On the year’s hottest day, our LON summer party at Horsenden Hill Activity Centre was a blast with sports day games, archery tag, and a giant inflatable obstacle course. We concluded with frisbee golf, a BBQ, drinks, and ice cream. Meanwhile, on July 19, our TPE team enjoyed an unforgettable glamping summer party. Under a beautiful sky, we engaged in various group activities and relaxed, creating lasting memories. A big thank you to everyone who made both events so special!
We’re excited to share our experiences from the recent IB Global Conference 2024 held in Washington, D.C. It was a thrilling few days where the Faria team had the opportunity to engage with the vibrant community of educators and leaders in international education. Engaging Presence at the Conference The Faria booths for ManageBac and Pamoja were buzzing centers of activity throughout the conference. We had the pleasure of hosting numerous attendees, discussing our latest innovations, and sharing insights on the future of education technology. Our teams were thrilled to distribute an array of goodies and enjoyed the enthusiastic conversations with current users and newcomers alike. Exploring Educational Alignments A highlight of our trip was the visit to the International Baccalaureate offices. It’s always inspiring to see how closely our missions align with IB's commitment to developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people. This visit underscored our shared goals and set the stage for future collaborations aimed at enhancing educational experiences worldwide. Connections and Collaborations Over the course of the conference, we had the invaluable opportunity to meet with educators, visit schools, and spend quality time with our team. These interactions are vital as they help us understand and serve the needs of the educational community better. Pamoja Team Day! 🎉 On June 19, the Pamoja team got together in Oxford, for a meet and greet with Oleg, Gavin and Angelica. We started the morning with introductions and then team presentations. We heard about the team's progress and also plans and projections for the future! This was the first time in a while the team had been all together, so it was great to share thoughts and ideas face-to-face. After the meeting, we headed to the social event, a boat trip down the river, which included a BBQ!
