Driving Cancer Care Forward

About us

Hope for Tomorrow is a dedicated charity, bringing cancer care closer to patients’ via our mobile cancer care units. As a cancer charity, we understand that time is a crucial factor for patients, and in 2007 we launched the world’s first ever mobile cancer care unit to bring vital cancer care closer to patients, enabling them to spend more time with family, friends and loved ones. We develop, build, provide and maintain mobile cancer care units to support patients who are going through cancer treatment by alleviating the stresses and strains of travelling for appointments, along with reducing hospital waiting times.

It may only be August, but our sights are already set on going BIG in this year's Big Give Christmas Challenge. The challenge is UK’s biggest match funded campaign, and we need your help to reach our target! Every donation made to Hope for Tomorrow via the Big Give website between 3-10 December can be matched by our generous funders This will give our fundraising a huge boost, helping to keep the wheels turning on our mobile cancer care units. For example, if you give £10 during these dates, it means we get £20! Look out for more details as we approach the challenge dates. #DrivingCancerCareForward #BigGive #Charity

The nurses who work on our mobile cancer care units are incredible. They welcome everyone on board, and ensure more patients, in more convenient, local community locations, are screened, treated and receive the cancer care they need. Amy Gonzalez, one of the wonderful nurses at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has seen first-hand how our mobile cancer care units positively impact patients. It’s time for another peek at our Gloucestershire-based unit, Helen’s latest upgrade! The world’s first mobile cancer care unit, Helen was launched in 2007. It’s brilliant to see that the unit’s third upgrade is coming along nicely! We’re looking forward to sharing Helen’s final makeover very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for the big reveal.  #DrivingCancerCareForward #MobileCancerCareUnits #CancerCharity

What a day we had at Veloce 2024! The tarmac at Goodwood Motor Circuit must still be sizzling from the incredible cars and performance that we witnessed yesterday. From the roar of the engines, the thrilling passenger laps with racing icons and some truly spectacular rare and valuable cars showcased.   We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along to the greatest track day on Earth, Veloce, including, the incredible drivers including Richard Attwood, charity patron Derek Bell and Damon Hill, who shared their skills, and all the amazing guests supporting us, including Rowan Atkinson and our lucky free ticket winner – Richard Haggarty. It was wonderful to see auctioneer Thomas Forrester again, gaining bids on our behalf. Thank you. A special thank you and well done to the team at V-Management for creating yet another super event, which of course, wouldn’t be possible without Veloce’s generous sponsors and partners: Broad Arrow , HFMC Wealth, Aviva, Lockton, Krome Technologies Ltd, Boodles, Classic Motor Cars Limited and V Events. Being chosen as a charity beneficiary again this year is something we are truly grateful for, and all the funds received help us to bring cancer care closer to patients. Here’s to speed, passion and making a difference!

Par for the course? Not for this golf club’s captain! Shout out to the incredible Stephen Taylor, Captain of Chipping Sodbury Golf Club for hosting a fantastic fundraising golf day in support of Hope for Tomorrow. Steve is Managing Director of Frocester Group - specialists in fire, security and engineering, who have been long-term champions and supporters of our work. Something which really shone through when some of the Frocester team conquered Mount Snowdon in the dark for our Snowdon Sunrise Challenge just last month. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Steve, Frocester Group and Chipping Sodbury Golf Club for putting on such a great day – enjoyed by all. Your efforts help us to keep our mobile cancer care units moving, in turn helping to make cancer care that bit easier for patients. As a charity, we are so thankful to Steve and all the team at Frocester Group for their unwavering support. So far this year, they have raised over £15,000 to support our work. AMAZING! We can’t wait to see what’s next! 📷Thanks to RichMcD for capturing these snaps from the day.
